What is your favorite thing about your profession?
"I enjoy helping others feel good about themselves and their appearance. I like teaching clients how to take care of their hairstyles. I enjoy the smile and excitement when they make a change you can see their self-confidence shine through and to know that I played a part in that makes me feel great."

What do you think you are best at?
"Making people feel at ease, especially when making a dramatic change.

How long have you been doing hair?
"I've been doing hair since I graduated from Scarlet Oaks Vocational School in 1984."

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
"Hanging with family and friends. I have a granddaughter who I spend most of my free time with! It is such a great feeling to be with her!"

Is there anything we don't know about you?
"As I get older I find myself wanting to live life to the fullest. Never regreat not doing or saying something. I try to always look on the bright side of life."
